Pet Haven Seychelles

Das Tierheim Pet Haven Seychelles auf den Seychellen wird geleitet von Myriam Hoareau und unterstützt von vielen Helfern.

Das Tierheim bietet ein Zuhause für ungefähr 380 Hunde. Wir setzen uns dafür ein, dass diese Tiere Futter, Schutz und Pflege erhalten, medizinisch versorgt werden und wenn möglich ein sicheres, liebevolles Zuhause finden.

Unser Fokus liegt dabei nicht nur auf akuter Hilfe, sondern auch auf langfristigen Lösungen, wie Kastrationsprogrammen und Aufklärungsarbeit.

Seychelles Pet Haven Germany

Seychelles Pet Haven Germany ist ein Verein in Deutschland, der das Tierheim auf den Seychellen unterstützt. Unsere Aufgabe ist es, die Arbeit von Pet Haven Seychelles verantwortungsvoll zu unterstützen, unter anderem durch:

  • Spendensammlungen
  • Unterstützung bei Tierarzt- und Pflegekosten
  • Patenschaftsmodelle
  • Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und Aufklärung

So stellen wir sicher, dass Hilfe dort ankommt, wo sie dringend gebraucht wird.

Code of conduct

The code of conduct applies to all Board members and paid and volunteer staff at Pet Haven Seychelles.

Animal welfare
The welfare of animals takes priority in all decisions. Every animal must be treated with respect and provided with appropriate food, water, shelter, and necessary medical care.
Pet Haven Seychelles has a strict no-kill policy. Healthy or treatable animals will not be euthanised because of lack of space or length of stay. Euthanasia may only be considered based on the documented recommendation of a qualified veterinarian to prevent irremediable suffering.
Illness, injury, neglect or other risks must be reported immediately. Abuse, intimidation, physical punishment, permanent chaining and electric-shock, choke or prong collars are prohibited.
Veterinary, hygiene, quarantine, and safety instructions must be followed.
Animals may only be rehomed, transferred or removed from Pet Haven Seychelles with the approval of a Board Member. All adopters must sign an adoption contract.

Responsible cooperation
Instructions from the Board must be followed. Information concerning animals, treatments, and incidents must be complete and accurate.
Staff, visitors, and other persons involved must be treated with respect. Threats, insults, harassment, and discrimination will not be tolerated.

Integrity
Donations, adoption fees, food, medicines, vehicles, and other Pet Haven property may only be used for authorised purposes.
Concerns regarding animal welfare, safety, finances or conduct must be reported to the Board. Anyone raising a genuine concern in good faith must not suffer any disadvantage.
Breaches may result in a warning, suspension from duties or termination of involvement with Pet Haven Seychelles.
